Preheat oven to 425°. Coat a 12-cup muffin pan with nonstick spray.
Cut pizza dough intoa total of 12 squares (6 squares per can). Press dough pieces into bottoms and up the sides of the prepared pan. Brush dough edges with egg white and sprinkle poppy seeds over top.
Toss together hot dogs, mustard, relish, and 1/4 cup onion in a bowl. Divide hot dog mixture among muffin cups.
Bake cups until edges are golden brown, about 15 minutes.
Top cups with remaining 1/4 cup onion, tomatoes, pickles, sport peppers, and mustard.
Notes:
I used Pillsbury canned refrigerated pizza dough.Can use any hot dog brand you prefer - Nathan's, Hebrew National, Ball Park, Oscar Mayer.Can substitute turkey hot dogs for beef hot dogs if desired.If you can't find sport peppers, you can substitute pickled serrano peppers, pickled jalapenos, or pickled pepperoncini peppers.I used petite kosher dill pickles. Feel free to use chopped regular dill pickles.Chicago Dogs do NOT use ketchup!
