Cheesy Bacon and Pecan Dip - (Charleston Cheese Dip) cream cheese, mayonnaise, cheddar, bacon, ritz crackers, and pepper jelly pecan glaze - This is crazy good. I have absolutely no self-control around it. I could eat it as a meal. Can make the dip ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake. Great for parties. It is always the first thing to go!!
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray.
Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese and bacon. Spread in pie plate. Top with crushed Ritz crackers.
Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and top with pepper jelly glaze.
Serve warm with additional Ritz crackers.
Notes:
This dip can be made in advance and refrigerated until you are ready to bake it. Perfect for any upcoming parties!!
Can substitute turkey bacon for the regular pork bacon.
I used cheddar cheese in the dip, but any cheese you enjoy will work just fine.
Can substitute crushed pork rinds and omit the pepper jelly for a low-carb dip. It will still taste great without the pepper jelly glaze.
We top the dip with some Rose and Ivy Southern Pecan Pepper Glaze. (I bought it at a gift shop in town.) It is a pecan pepper jelly sauce. I don't like pepper jelly, but it tastes SO good on top of this dip.
