No-Boil Ravioli Lasagna Recipe – all the flavors of classic lasagna made easier with frozen ravioli and jarred pasta sauce. You can have this delicious casserole prepped and into the oven in under 20 minutes. Frozen ravioli, spaghetti sauce, Italian sausage, ricotta, egg, parsley, and mozzarella cheese. This recipe is great for meal prepping and it freezes wonderfully. Serve with a salad and crusty garlic bread for a quick weeknight meal.
In a large skillet, cook sausage until no longer pink. Drain excess grease and set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix together ricotta, egg, and parsley. Set aside.
Lightly spray a 9×13-inch pan with cooking spray. Spread ⅓ of the spaghetti sauce in the bottom of the pan. Layer half of the ravioli on top of the sauce. Spread ricotta mixture on top of ravioli. Top with cooked sausage and ½ of the mozzarella cheese. Layer the remaining ravioli.
Spread remaining sauce on top of ravioli and top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
Notes:
There is no need to cook the ravioli before adding it to the dish.
Can use any flavor of ravioli that you prefer.
Can substitute ground beef, ground turkey, or ground chicken.
Can omit the meat for a vegetarian dish.
What Can I add to the casserole? Onions, bell pepper, or spinach are all great additions.
My favorite store-bought spaghetti sauces are Trader Joe’s Roasted Garlic Marinara (green label), Carbone, Rao’s, and La Famiglia DelGrosso.
