Place chicken in the slow cooker. Sprinkle with onion flakes. Top chicken with cream of chicken soup.
Cover slow cooker and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
Using two forks, shred cooked chicken in the slow cooker.
Prepare rice according to package directions. Stir into shredded chicken.
Notes:
Can make rice a day in advance.If mixture is too thick, add some chicken broth.Can substitute onion powder or fresh onion for dried onion.Can use any cream of soup that you prefer - celery, mushroom, or chickenCan use low-fat or healthy choice soup.
