One-Pot Spaghetti Bolognese - I finally found my go-to spaghetti recipe! SO easy to make and is ready in 20 minutes! No need to pre-boil the pasta. It cooks along with the sauce. Italian sausage, garlic, onion, tomato sauce, sugar, basil, chicken broth, heavy cream, crushed tomatoes, and spaghetti. Tastes better than my favorite Italian restaurant!
1lbItalian sausage, casings removed
3garlic cloves, crushed
1Tbspdried minced onion flakes
1(28-oz)can crushed tomatoes
¼tspred pepper flakes
12-ozthin spaghetti, uncooked
In a Dutch oven, cook Italian sausage until no longer pink. Drain fat.
Add tomato paste, garlic cloves, onion flakes, basil, and sugar. Cook for 1 or 2 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Can substitute ground beef or ground turkey for sausage.
