Buffalo Chicken Tater Tot Casserole - SO good! Great casserole for a potluck or watching football!! Everyone LOVES this recipe! Chicken, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, buffalo wing sauce, cheddar cheese, tater tots and celery. Can make ahead and freeze for later.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together chicken, sour cream, soup, buffalo sauce and cheese. Fold in frozen tater tots. Spoon mixture into prepared pan. Top with chopped celery.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, until bubbly.
I used a rotisserie chicken for the cooked chopped chicken in this dish.There is no need to thaw tater tots before mixing them into the casserole.Use gluten-free cream of chicken soup for a gluten-free dish.I used Frank's Wing Sauce.Can assemble the casserole ahead of time and refrigerate overnight or freeze for later.To bake after freezing, thaw overnight in the freezer and bake a directed above.To reheat after freezing, thaw overnight in the freezer and bake covered at 350ºF for 30 to 40 minutes.
