Notes:
I used rotisserie chicken for the cooked chicken in this recipe. This recipe uses about a half of a chicken. Here is our recipe for Homemade Slow Cooker Rotisserie Chicken: https://www.plainchicken.com/slow-cooker-rotisserie-chicken/You can use any can of cream of anything soup you prefer - chicken, mushroom or celery all work great. Can substitute turkey bacon for regular pork bacon.I have not made this dish with regular long-grain rice. I am sure it can be done with a few adjustments. Instant rice cooks in an equivalent amount of liquid and doubles in size. Regular long-grain rice cooks with a 2:1 water to rice ratio. One cup of regular rice equals 3 cups of cooked rice. You will need to adjust the cooking time if using instant brown rice. Instant brown rice takes longer to cook than instant white rice.If you are sensitive to the ranch dressing mix, feel free to adjust the amount to your personal preference.
