Turn Instant Pot on Sauté setting. Cook Jimmy Dean Premium Pork Sausage until no longer pink, breaking up sausage as it cooks.
Turn Instant Pot off. Add a little of the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the Instant Pot to avoid getting a BURN notice. Stir in stone ground grits, remaining chicken broth, 1/2 cup milk, Ranch seasoning and garlic power.
Close lid, lock pot, select “Manual” or "High Pressure" setting and 10 minutes cooking time. Preform a natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then release quick release any remaining pressure.
Stir in remaining 1/2 cup milk and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Check seasoning and add salt and/or pepper to taste.
