Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom and up the sides of a springform pan. Set aside.
Ice Cream Filling
Pour heavy cream into the bowl of a stand mixer and whip until stiff peaks form. Fold in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Stir in chopped doughnuts.
Spread ice cream into prepared crust. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the freezer. Freeze for 6 hours, or until set.
Notes:
Take the pie out 20 to 30 minutes before serving and let it sit at room temperature before cutting. This will make it easier to slice.
I used a box of Keebler graham cracker crumbs. Feel free to crush your own graham crackers. I suggest crushed the crackers in a food processor until they are very fine. My crumbs were the consistency of sand.
You can substitute a store-bought graham cracker crust if you prefer. Store-bought crusts are smaller than a springform pan. If you use a smaller store-bought crust, you will have to mound the ice cream in the crust or have leftover ice cream.
I used original Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts. You can use any flavor or brand of doughnuts that you prefer.
The pie will keep in the freezer for 2 or 3 months. Make sure to wrap it tightly with plastic wrap and foil to keep the frost off the pie.
