Honey Bacon Brie and Walnut flatbread - Inspired by my favorite sandwich in Amsterdam. Naan flatbread topped with bacon, brie cheese, walnuts, and honey. The flavor combination is out of this world! Can serve as a main dish or as an appetizer. I NEVER have any leftovers when I make these for parties.
Cook bacon until crispy. Chop each slice into 3 or 4 pieces.
Preheat oven broiler on high.
Place ¼ of bacon slices on top of each flatbread. Drizzle 1 Tbsp honey over each flatbread. Top each flatbread with ¼ brie cheese slices and 1 Tbsp chopped walnuts.
Place flatbreads on baking sheet and broil until cheese is melted, 2 or 3 minutes.
Notes:
I used precooked Naan flatbread as the base. I like Stonefire Original Naan. You can find it in the deli/produce area at the grocery store.
