Mississippi Sin Breakfast Bubble Up recipe – quick and easy ham and cheese biscuit breakfast casserole! Great for baby showers, overnight guests, and holiday mornings. Only takes a few minutes to make and is ready to eat in about 35 minutes. Ham, cheddar cheese, green onions, biscuits, cream cheese, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and garlic powder. We LOVE this quick and easy casserole for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray.
In a skillet, cook diced ham over medium-high heat until all of the liquid has been released. Drain liquid.
Quarter biscuits and place in pan. Top with diced ham, shredded cheese, and green onions.
With a handheld mixer, beat together cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and garlic powder. Beat until mixed well. Pour the egg mixture over the biscuits
Bake 30-45 minutes, until golden brown. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes:
I used two cans of the smaller5-count (6-oz) refrigerated biscuits. I did NOT use the bigger Grands! biscuits.
Feel free to add some spinach to the casserole mixture.
I used shredded cheddar cheese. You can use any cheeses that you prefer in this casserole.
Can Bubble Up Breakfast Casserole be made in advance? Yes! You can assemble the casserole and refrigerate it overnight.
Can I freeze Bubble Up Breakfast Casserole? Yes! You can freeze the baked casserole and reheat later. To reheat the casserole, thaw completely. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350ºF for 30 to 45 minutes.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
