Keto Chicken Pizza Crust recipe – a low carb, keto-friendly pizza crust made with 4 simple ingredients: ground chicken, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. CRAZY good! Top the crust with your favorite sauce and pizza toppings. We make this all the time. All the flavors of pizza without all the guilt! Perfect for a low-carb or keto diet.
In a bowl, combine ground chicken, grated parmesan, Italian seasoning and 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese.
Press chicken mixture into a circle on a sheet of parchment paper or pizza stone. If using parchment paper, place chicken on a baking sheet.
Bake chicken for 20 minutes.
Remove chicken from oven, drain off any of the juices.
Top partially cooked chicken with sauce, remaining mozzarella cheese, and pizza toppings.
Bake an additional 8 to 10 minutes, until cheese is melted.
Notes:
If you can't find ground chicken at the grocery store you can make your own at home. Simply place some raw chicken breast in a food processor and chop until the chicken is ground.
You can shape the chicken mixture into a circle or rectangle by hand or with a rolling pin.
The chicken will release some liquid as it cooks. I suggest using a rimmed pizza pan or rimmed baking sheet.
For the sauce, I used my No-Cook Pizza Sauce and left out the sugar for a low carb pizza sauce. It tasted great without the added sugar. The tomatoes provided enough sweetness.
My favorite store-bought pizza sauce is Rao's.
Don't like red sauce? Top the pizza with some Alfredo sauce or pesto sauce. YUM!
Rao's Alfredo sauce is delicious and low carb.
I topped the pizza with a combination of shredded mozzarella and fresh mozzarella cheese. You can use any cheese blend that you enjoy.
Top the pizza with your favorite toppings. Red onions, pepperoni, spinach, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, or olives all work great!
Can Chicken Pizza Crust be made in advance? Yes. You can mix the ingredients for the crust and wrap it in plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator overnight.
Garnish the pizza with fresh basil.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
