Cracked Out Hawaiian Rolls Recipe - sweet Hawaiian rolls, melted cheese, bacon, and savory ranch butter. All of our favorite flavors in one bite! Can make in advance and refrigerate until ready to bake. Great as a party appetizer or a quick breakfast.
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut cheddar cheese slices into 8 pieces.
Cut bacon slices into thirds.
Separate a package of Hawaiian rolls into individual rolls. Make two cuts just two-thirds of the way down each roll. Do NOT cut all the way through the rolls!
Place one piece of bacon in each slit. Place cheese slices on each side of the bacon. You will use four pieces of cheese in each roll.
Place the cut rolls on a baking sheet or baking dish lined with parchment paper.
Combine melted butter and ranch dressing mix. Brush the butter mixture over the top of the rolls.
Bake for 10 minutes, until the cheese has melted. Brush rolls with any remaining ranch butter.
Notes:
I use slices of precooked bacon.
If cooking your own bacon, cook it until it is just starting to get crispy. It will continue to cook when you bake the rolls.
