Creamy Pizza Dip Recipe - SOOOO good! Sausage, pepperoni, cream cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, and diced tomatoes. Ready in under 10 minutes. Great for parties! You might want to double the recipe. I never have any leftovers! Low-carb, Keto-Friendly, and gluten-free appetizer.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook sausage until crumbled and no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
Add garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds.
Add pepperoni, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and cream cheese to the skillet.
Stir and cook until the cheese melts.
Notes:
Can use any sausage you prefer. Regular breakfast sausage (Jimmy Dean) or Italian sausage both work great.
Can substitute turkey sausage
I use mini pepperoni slices. You can chop regular pepperoni slices if you don't have mini pepperoni.
Can substitute 1 teaspoon of garlic powder for fresh minced garlic cloves.
Add a dash of red pepper flakes for a little kick.
I use a can of Hunt's diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano. If you can't find a can of diced tomatoes with Italian seasoning, you can just increase the amount of Italian seasoning in the dip.
What can I add to the dip?
Onion
Bell Peppers
Mushrooms
Olives
Ham
Pineapple
Parmesan Cheese
Mozzarella Cheese
If the dip is too thick, add a splash of milk or heavy cream.
