Easy Chicken Stuffing Casserole

This Yum Yum Crack Chicken Casserole is the ultimate comfort food! Chicken, cheddar, bacon, and ranch topped with a creamy sauce and cornbread stuffing. YUM-YUM! We had this for dinner last week and everyone went back for seconds. I already have this back on the menu again this weekend. It is that good! Whip up some broccoli and buttery rolls and you are set! You must give this casserole a try ASAP!

What does CRACK mean?

If a recipe has “crack” in the title it means that the recipe has cheddar, bacon, and ranch in the ingredients. It all started with my Crack Dip way back in 2007. I made the dip for a Titans football game. Everyone went crazy over it. We couldn’t stop eating it and said it was like crack. The name stuck.

According to the dictionary, the definition of crack is “of superior excellence or ability”. We think the flavor combination of cheddar, bacon, and ranch fits this definition! This recipe is most definitely of superior excellence!

How to Make Yum Yum Crack Chicken Casserole

This recipe is super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Spread chopped cooked chicken in the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle cooked chopped bacon pieces and shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken and set aside.

In a medium bowl, stir together cream of chicken soup, ranch dressing mix, and sour cream. Spread the soup mixture over the top of the chicken layer. Sprinkle a box of stuffing mix over the top of the casserole. Pour chicken broth and melted butter over the stuffing mix. Bake in a preheated oven until bubbly.
