In a bowl, whisk together chili sauce and cranberry sauce. Pour over cocktail weenies.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 2-4 hours.
Notes:
I use Heinz Chili Sauce. It is basically a spicy ketchup. You will find it in the condiment section near the ketchup at the grocery store.
Can substitute bbq sauce or Sriracha.
Can I make Cranberry Sausages on the stove top? Yes! Place the cocktail wieners in a Dutch Oven. Add sauce and stir well. Cover and cook on medium heat until hot.
Variations/Additions:
brown sugar
Worcestershire sauce
dijon mustard
onion powder
garlic powder
Can I freeze little smokies? Yes. You can freeze them in a freezer safe container for 3 to 4 months.
Thaw and reheat in the microwave or on the stove.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
