Homemade Garlic Bread - the ultimate garlic bread recipe! In a small bowl, stir together softened butter, lemon juice, fresh garlic cloves, dijon mustard, paprika, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce, fresh parsley, onion powder, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Season with kosher salt and black pepper. Add grated parmesan cheese and stir to combine.
Cut a loaf of French bread in half lengthwise. Place bread on a baking sheet cut side up. Spread the garlic butter mixture over the bread.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, until crispy. Sprinkle with dried parsley and cut into slices.
Notes:
I use unsalted butter. You can use salted butter if you prefer.

Should I use fresh garlic or garlic powder?I love the flavor of fresh garlic. You can use substitute garlic powder.
Is Homemade Garlic Bread spicy? There is a kick of heat from the cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes. If you are sensitive to heat, omit those ingredients.
Can I freeze Garlic Bread? Yes. You can freeze the bread baked or unbaked.
Assemble the bread and place it on a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the freezer. Once the bread is frozen. Wrap the halves in plastic wrap and aluminum foil and store in the freezer for up to 4 months.
When ready to bake, thaw and bake as directed.
