BBQ Chicken Sliders Recipe - Stuffed between soft Hawaiian rolls, these sliders boast a symphony of flavors – tender chicken, crispy bacon, French fried onions, tangy BBQ sauce, and gooey cheddar cheese. Brushed with melted butter and baked to perfection, each bite is a taste explosion. Pair them with a side of crunchy coleslaw and golden french fries for a complete flavor experience. Whether it's game day or a casual gathering, these sliders are the star of the show!
Combine cooked chicken, bacon, fried onions, cheddar cheese, and bbq sauce. Set aside.
Without separating the rolls, cut the entire loaf horizontally and place the bottoms in a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread chicken mixture over the bottom buns. Place top buns on top of the cheese.
Spoon melted butter over the top of the rolls.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Notes:
You can use any shredded chicken you have on hand.
Rotisserie chicken, skinless chicken breasts, chicken thighs, chicken tenderloins, or canned chicken all work fine.
Use precooked bacon for easy prep.
Can substitute turkey bacon.
I use King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, but you can substitute slider buns.
