Homemade Pizza Sauce - ditch the jarred stuff and make your own. Super simple to make and tastes GREAT! Tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, oregano, fennel seed, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt. Ready to use in minutes. Can freeze the extra sauce for a quick meal later.
Ingredients:
1(15-oz)can tomato sauce
1(6-oz)can tomato paste
1½tspItalian seasoning
1½tspdried oregano
½tspfennel seed, crushed
½tsponion powder
½tspgarlic powder
¼tspsalt, or to taste
Instructions:
In a medium saucepan, combine all the ingredients.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
Notes:
Sauce can be stored in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for a week.Can freeze the sauce for up to 2 or 3 months.
