Spread pudding evenly over brownie cubes.
Spread whipped cream evenly over pudding and top with crushed Butterfinger candy bars.

Notes:
I use Ghiradelli Brownie Mix. You can use any boxed brownie mix you prefer. You can make cake-like brownies or fudgy brownies. Just make whatever is your personal preference.
To easily crush the Butterfinger candy bars, place them in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Freezing the candy bars keeps the chocolate from sticking to the wrapper.
I make this dessert in a glass serving dish.
To make the recipe in a trifle bowl, double the recipe.
Place half of the brownies, half of the pudding, half of the whipped cream, and half of the crushed Butterfingers in the trifle dish.
Repeat layers and refrigerate.
I use chocolate pudding. Feel free to substitute vanilla pudding.
Don't like Butterfingers? You can use your favorite candy bar, toffee bits, or oreo cookies.
I prefer to make fresh whipped cream. You can substitute cool whip if you prefer.
Can Butterfinger Brownie Trifle be made in advance? Yes! You can make the dessert the night before and refrigerate it until ready to serve.
