Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders Recipe – an easy way to serve burgers to a crowd! Seasoned hamburger meat with melty cheese and bacon on Hawaiian rolls covered in the most delicious sweet and savory glaze. You’ll never want to eat burgers any other way! Ground beef, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, hamburger seasoning, Velveeta, Hawaiian rolls, cheese slices, bacon, butter, brown sugar, and sesame seeds. Great for parties or an easy weeknight dinner. This recipe is always a hit!
In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
Add ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and hamburger seasoning to the skillet. Simmer over medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes.
Add Velveeta cheese and cook just until the cheese has melted. Remove from the heat.
Without separating the rolls, cut the entire loaf horizontally and place the bottoms in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread meat mixture over the bottom buns. Top meat with cheese slices and chopped bacon. Place top buns on top of the cheese.
In a small saucepan combine butter, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire, and poppy seeds. Bring just to a boil and spoon over the sandwiches.
Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the tops are brown and crispy.
Notes:
Can substitute ground turkey, ground pork, or ground chicken.
I use King’s Hawaiian rolls, but you can substitute slider buns if you prefer.
I like to use American cheese because it melts wonderfully. You can substitute any cheese that you enjoy. Cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, provolone - anything goes!!
