Cheddar Bay Sloppy Joe Casserole Recipe - dive into comfort food heaven! 1(11.36-oz)package Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 425ºF. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain excess grease. Add a can of Manwich sauce and stir. Season with salt and black pepper. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer.
Spread the ground beef mixture in the bottom of a 9x13-inch casserole dish. Sprinkle 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
In a medium bowl, prepare cheddar bay biscuits according to the package directions: combine biscuit mix, water, and shredded cheddar cheese.
Using a small cookie scoop, scoop the biscuit dough over the top of the casserole. Spread the biscuit dough over the ground beef mixture with an offset spatula sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
Bake in a preheated oven for 14 to 16 minutes until bubbly and the biscuits are golden brown.
Combine melted butter and seasoning packet. Brush with garlic butter and garnish with parsley.
Notes:
You can substitute ground turkey, ground chicken, or ground pork.
I use a can of Manwich sauce. You can make your own sloppy joe sauceif you prefer.
