Unfold puff pastry. Place brie in the center of pastry. Top brie with brown sugar, pecans, and cinnamon, if using. Gather up edges of the pastry, pressing around the brie and gathering at the top. Brush pastry with beaten egg.
Set air fryer temperature to 375ºF. Place brie in the air fryer basket. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve with crackers and apple slices.
Notes:
This is best served hot.
You can assemble the brie ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to serve.
I suggest letting the brie come to room temperature before baking. This helps the cheese to be ooey and gooey after it is baked.
You can reheat the brie in the microwave or covered in the oven.
