Brie Bites Recipe – Creamy brie cheese, bacon, honey, and walnuts baked in phyllo mini tarts - sweet and salty goodness! The flavor combination is amazing. Can make the bites ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake. Great for all your holiday parties and tailgating!! You might want to double the recipe – these cheese bites don’t last long!!
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Place phyllo tarts on a baking sheet.
Cut brie into 30 pieces. Place one piece of brie in each phyllo tart.
Top each piece of cheese with some walnuts, honey and bacon.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes, until cheese is melted.
Notes:
You can assemble the bites a day or two in advance. Place the bites on a baking sheet in a single layer and wrap with plastic wrap. Store in the fridge until you are ready to bake them.
I use premade phyllo tarts. Look for them in the freezer section at your local grocery store near the puff pastry.
There is no need to bake the tarts before assembling. The dough comes fully cooked.
