Ranch Glazed Baked Ham – you’ll never buy a fancy store-bought ham again! This ham is super easy to make and is packed full of amazing flavor! Spiral-cut half ham, brown sugar, dijon mustard, ranch dressing, ranch seasoning, honey, and orange juice. A must for your holiday meal.
In a medium bowl, whisk together Ranch dressing, Ranch seasoning mix, brown sugar, mustard, honey and orange juice.
Place ham on heavy duty aluminum foil. Spread half the Ranch glaze over ham, brushing between the spiral cuts. Tightly wrap the ham in the foil and place in a roasting pan.
Bake for 2½ hours.
Remove the ham from the oven. Carefully open the foil. Brush the remaining glaze over the ham and between slices.
Bake uncovered for 20 more minutes or until glaze is golden brown and the ham has an internal temperature of 140ºF.
Rest 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes:
I use a large bone-in ham for this recipe.
Since the ham is already cooked, you are only heating up the ham. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 140ºF.
Cook the ham for about 13 to 16 minutes per pound.
Make sure to get the glaze in between all the slices. You want every slice to have amazing flavor.
Can I make Ranch Glazed Ham in the slow cooker? Yes! Place the ham in the slow cooker and cover it with the glaze. Cover and cook on LOW until the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140ºF.
Tip – if your lid won’t cover the ham, cover the crockpot tightly with heavy-duty aluminum foil instead.
Can I make the glaze ahead of time? Yes! You can whisk together the ham glaze ahead of time and store it in an airtight container in the fridge.
