Cat Photos to Make You Happy
I don’t know about you, but I need Meow Monday more than ever! There is a lot of difficult news out there right now, and I really enjoy taking a break with some cute cat photos.
We had some beautiful weather this past week and the cats took full advantage of it. The twins love sitting on the table and looking out at the birds. Grandpa Felix has to settle for bird watching on the deck since he can’t jump that high.

We a gazillion cat toys in the house and these two goobers prefer to play with the L. L. Bean bag that my slippers came in. I cut the bag in the middle and they love to get inside and roll around. They also hide toys inside it. That’s a cat for you!
Mango had another great week. No seizures! This is how she spends most of her days – sitting on my desk helping me work. She is such a good helper. She makes sure that the paper on my desk doesn’t go anywhere. Mango also steals ALL the pens off my desk. I have to go find them at the end of every day. LOL!
Mack not only loves L.L. Bean bags, but he also LOVES this big box. He loves to jump in and play with the paper in the box and his cat toys. He also loves to tear the cardboard with his teeth. You can see his handy work in the next photo.
Grandpa Felix had his best week ever! He started taking his Prozac and it has already started working wonders. No more pacing around the house looking for places to pee. In fact, he didn’t pee outside of the box all week. YAY! He seems happy and relaxed. FINALLY! The medicine made him a little extra sleepy at first, but he is just normal cat sleepy now. Fingers crossed the medicine continues to work!

Every Monday at lunch with my buddies in high school I open my phone’s newsfeeds and am greeted with the great joy and gift to this earth that your cats are. They shine through the darkest of chemistry tests, and the woeful valleys of dreaded Mondays. Mack, Mango, and Felix have brought me more encouragement and vibrancy of life than could ever be asked for in these uncertain times. Thank you and God bless.

What beautiful kitties! Glad that I don’t have to choose a favorite. Thanks so much for sending these great photos. You’re right – all of us need something lovely and peaceful to brighten our days. Our cat, Dakota, loves cardboard boxes, too. Matter of fact, he got into trouble this afternoon by trying to get into a very large box and not making it.

Could you get Grandpa something to sit on comfortably while he looks outside since he can’t get up on the table ?is there something he can walk up onto instead of jumping so he can be higher up with his fellow cats?
He is very comfortable. He has chairs and enjoying laying on the deck. We also have a cat tower. He is just fine.

I”m so glad Felix is calmer! Maybe now that M&M are no longer tiny kittens, he is starting to feel more territorial, as opposed to protective?
