Mardi Gras

Is there anything better than Mardi Gras. Ā Everybody having fun, the bright beautiful colors and don’t get me started with the food. Ā Obviously, Ā that’s my favorite part so I would like to share some of our Ā recipes that I believe will make your Mardi Gras celebration a hit!

Let’s start with what everyone associates with the party and that is the King Cake. Ā One of my favorite takes on this classic is the King Cake Bubble Up. Ā Beautiful cake with the pretty colors and so fun and easy. Ā Another version of the classic cake is my King Cake Earthquake Cake. Ā Amazing flavor and a great way to use that extra box of yellow cake mix you already have in your pantry. Ā Mardi Gras makes me think of New Orleans so food with a kick is essential and the Cajun Sausage Chicken & Spinach Pasta hits the spot. Ā But, if you want to start the party with an appetizer that you can’t stop eating try the French Quarter Cheese Ball. Ā Yep, it’s that good!
