Christmas

As the song says it truly is the most wonderful time of the year, especially if its cold!  I don’t always get the cold part but one can always be hopeful.  This is my absolute favorite holiday and it’s when I spend so much time making fabulous desserts, and cookies, and treats, and……..you get it!  Seriously, I love putting on the holiday music and just cooking and baking in the kitchen all day.  So as you can imagine there are so many wonderful recipes I have for you to try and I can’t wait.

A perfect dish for Christmas morning is the Sausage and Ranch Grits Casserole.  Open presents with your family and friends then enjoy a delicious breakfast.  Do you need a great side to go with that holiday turkey?  Try the Homemade Cranberry Sauce.  Simply amazing, and doesn’t have that can shape!  I hope everyone gets a chance to try the Chocolate Coated Pecan Balls that are great for a treat or even as a nice gift for friends. These wonderful chocolate treats will a bring a smile to anyones face.  How about an Overnight Cranberry Eggnog Coffee Cake.  Simply delicious and has wonderful flavor from the holiday drink.
