Good Morning! Happy Meow Monday! I’m here to brighten your day with some photos of cute cats! I know it helps me! I hope it helps you get the week started on the right foot.
OH MY GOSH! What a week! The cats have officially arrived at the new house. It was a wild ride down. Mango screamed for about 3 ½ of the 4-hour drive. Mack was so stressed that he was panting. He finally calmed down and took a nap. BUT we made it! They absolutely love it. They have all of their cat towers, beds, and toys. Let the new adventures begin!

Congratulations on your move! The new house, and the views, look fantastic! Mack and Mango are going to be in screened porch heaven with all that room to roam and all the new spaces to explore and watch. Who knows what new kind of creatures they may see. You may never get them inside again 🙂

Looks like you have moved close to the Gulf Coast. If so go ahead and get sedatives from the vet for a lot more car trips for Hurricane evacuations. Been there and done that with two cats. The year of Katrina I boarded up and evacuated 6 times in 3 months. My cats and I stayed stressed for three months! Love your new house and there will be plenty of new birds for them to watch along with squirrels and maybe even a gator.

Does not look like they will get birds and squirrels without the big trees. I do not think you will see those in palm trees.
Well they will find something to watch I guess.
Where is their outdoor space? Is it just the pool area? Looks like like less space for them. Maybe I didn’t see it right. I hope they do not fall in the pool….yikes!!
I did not like how they looked in the carriers. I never do though, they are so afraid.
Well at least the travel is over with. I loved your last house, I miss it. Maybe I can move to it lol.

April 1 we traveled 13 hours from our Alabama home to our new Texas home. No, it wasn’t an April Fool’s joke. We bought a cat “tent” to fit the back of our SUV. That, along with a little sedation from the vet, made the trip comfortable for them. Every once-in-in-a-while, Cali would yell out, “I’m still back here,” but Jet just went with it. Now we’re all settled into this new place. It looks like Mack and Mango are settled in also. Good luck getting everything unpacked and keep the pictures and recipes coming.
Sammy, my new cat had the same reaction when put in the cat carrier for the 5 hour trip to her new home, but has so far adjusted nicely.
