Peppermint Bark

This was SO easy and so good. This is very similar to what you can buy at Williams-Sonoma but at a fraction of the cost. You could add a layer of semi-sweet or dark chocolate on the bottom if you like. I just decided to go all white chocolate. I plan on making some more this month and giving it as gifts!

Peppermint Bark

  • 2 packages white chocolate chips
  • ½ tsp peppermint extract or several drops of peppermint oil
  • crushed candy canes
Melt white chocolate in a microwave bowl on High for 1 minute. Stir. Continue to heat in the microwave for 30 seconds until melted. Add peppermint extract. Pour mixture onto a cookie sheet layered with parchment or waxed paper. Top with crushed candy canes and place
in the refrigerator for 45 minutes or until firm. Remove from cookie sheet and break into pieces (like peanut brittle.)
