Meow Monday

Meow Monday - pictures of cute cats to start the week. Come see what Felix, Mack, and Mango have been up to! #cats #kittens
collage of 3 cat photos

Meow Monday! I'm here to brighten your day with some photos of cute cats! I know it helps me! I hope it helps you get the week started on the right foot.

The cats had a good week. Felix is doing great. He has been hanging out on the deck and playing with the kittens. The kitten's surgeries went well. They spent the night at the vet's office. They were tired when we picked them up but were flying around the house by the end of the night.

Felix loved having a day to himself last week. He had a mini-vacation while the kittens were having their surgery.  He took lots of naps, played in the house, and ate about 6 cans of cat food! He loves being outside with the catnip. He also loves playing with the kittens and he even cleans them. It is so sweet.

Mango was NOT a fan of being at the vet's office. She was hissing and hitting Mack in the carrier on the way home. Once she got home and took a nap she was fine. Thank goodness! Poor little Mack didn't know what was going on with her.  The vet did find an inflamed lymph node while performing her spay surgery. She gave Mango some anitbiotics and sent a sample off to pathology. We should get the results back this week.

Mack has started to calm down a little bit more. He has been doing much better at night. He has started sleeping next to me most of the night. He comes in a little after midnight and will stay until 5 or 6 mornings. Once the sun starts to come up he has to start playing.

  1. Hope the biopsy comes back negative. Glad it was a good week.

  2. Felix looks super relaxed. Glad the surgeries went okay. Always fun to see your fur babies.

  3. Love the pictures! They say after a cats been in the hospital that they will strike out at their other feline friends. This is cause they don't recognize their scent. One time I brought Jones home from the overnight stay at the vets & once he got out of the carrier at home, Daisy, his mama slapped the crap out of him! I said, "well that's one way to welcome someone home from the hsospital". LOL. LISA Giltner

  4. Great shots of your buddies - I'm often amazed at the sleeping positions cats get into.
