Cat Photos to Make You Happy

I don’t know about you, but I need Meow Monday more than ever! There is a lot of difficult news out there right now, and I really enjoy taking a break with some cute cat photos.

It was a lazy week at the house last week. Everyone took lots of naps. This is Mack’s favorite place to nap. He fits perfectly! The kittens have an appointment at the vet this week for their annual shots and checkup. We tried to take them a couple of weeks ago, but Mango wouldn’t get in the cat carrier. I bought two new carriers that have an opening on the top. Fingers crossed we can get Mango in one to go to the doctor’s office!

Here is where Mango loves to be – outside in the cat tower. We had some nice weather and she loves to lay on her back and birdwatch.

Mack Attack is checking out the neighborhood from my office window. He just wants to make sure everyone is safe and sound! Good job, Mack!

Felix is LOVING the heat. He spends almost the whole day outside. He only comes in if it rains. He moves from corner to corner sleeping all day. Sometimes he will take a quick break and lay next to the door to get a little air conditioning. He is living his best life!

Keep you fingers crossed we can wrangle Mango into a cat carrier later this week! I’m hoping to get her in without getting scratched. I’ll let you know next week if the carriers worked!

I hope everyone has a PURRFECT week! Be safe!

Steph

  1. Yeah, I just turn my regular carriers on the side so it’s like a top-loader.😜. I take mine by the scruff & put them in feet first…..latch it & turn it back down. Hoping it all works out for you with Mango. (We love our vet too.)😉

  2. Leave the carriers out so she can play in them and know that they aren’t scary, also you can wrap her up in a towel like a baby and then put her in, so she can’t scratch you, I always just picked up mine by the scruff of the neck and they would freeze enough for me to drop them in. Best of luck, love your photos.😊

  3. Such handsome kitties! I Love your Meow Monday posts. I have used a cat bag with great success. (It is made out of nylon and the cat’s head pokes out on one side.) I get my mom’s big cat into it in less than a minute, as opposed to the cat carrier which I failed at using both the door and top removable option. I also like that the handle can be used with a seat belt, so the cat stays put on the car seat. I bought mine through an app, but the options online all look good. I wish you success!

  4. Love these posts!!! You should try using a mobile vet. The idea of wrangling our kitty into a cat carrier was not exciting. So we started using a mobile vet who comes to our house for the cat and dog. Best decision ever! 😺🐶

    1. If we don’t succeed with the new carriers, that is what we will have to do. We just LOVE our vet, so hopefully, we can make it work.
