Cat Photos to Make You Happy
I don’t know about you, but I need Meow Monday more than ever! There is a lot of difficult news out there right now, and I really enjoy taking a break with some cute cat photos.
This week I caught these two on the cat tower. They both love playing and sleeping on it. It is always fun to watch them jostle for top position!

Mack plays hard. He loves this ball toy. He’s had it since we adopted him and plays with it all the time.
Mack not only plays hard, this little boy sleeps hard to. This is his new favorite position. I love it because it leaves his belly exposed for rubs. I love this little slug bug!
Mango’s new spot is in the chair in the dining room. She likes the chair and she can still keep an eye on me in my office when she is there. That is a win win for her.
For an old guy, Grandpa Felix is pretty agile (when he wants to be). I caught him hanging out on the outside cat tower the other night. He as nice enough to pose for a moment for me.

You are very successful in integrating new cats into your home. I need advice! Two weeks ago I adopted a 7 month old male kitten. I have a 6 year old female. This is not my first rodeo but the female is still hissing and charging at him on the rare occasions I try to get them to meet. To date I’ve kept them separated, fed them on either side of the door, used pheromone spray, given the female extra attention, etc. I’m out of ideas except to wait?
The male kitten is calm and chirps at her for attention. Help?
We usually do what you are doing. Keep them separated and gradually let them meet. With Felix, we put him in a guest room for a few days by himself and then just opened the door and let him and the other cats work it out. We would shut the door at night so he felt safe but kept the door open during the day.
Thank you for your quick response. It’s been two weeks and she still goes after him. I’ve read it’s harder for females to accept a new cat? I have run out of solutions. I would certainly welcome any information from the cat lovers in your community. I’ve introduced new cats many times but not with my current 6 year old female. Our previous cat was a large male that she loved?
Steph, What size is the cat tower Mack and Mango are on? I’m always trying to find one big enough for my cat.
That tower is 76″ tall. It is Urban Cat Penthouse – I got it at Petco.
