Cat Photos to Make You Happy
I don’t know about you, but I need Meow Monday more than ever! There is a lot of difficult news out there right now, and I really enjoy taking a break with some cute cat photos.
Here is a glimpse of the chaos at our house. This is our foyer. I ordered some things to organize our pantry and the cats claimed the boxes and the packaging. The two littles play in the big box all day long. They love it! They also love scooting around on the plastic. We will get it all cleaned up today. I might let them keep the big box for another week.

Grandpa Felix is still getting to go outside. Here is his staring down the neighbor’s dog. The dog was going crazy barking at him but he didn’t care one bit. He eventually got up when the neighbor’s other dog came down and joined in the barking.
Mack LOVES hanging out with Felix. Chicken Legs let them both go out on the unscreened deck yesterday. Mack was in heaven and cried when he had to come in. I told Chicken Legs we might need another harness.
This pretty girl is doing good. We are still trying to figure out this pill thing. Thank you are all the recommendations last week. I ordered some pill pockets and some bacon flavored pill paste to hide the pill in. Hopefully one of these options work. The problem is that Mango isn’t a big eater. We might have to resort to the dreaded pill popper.
Look at my sluggy buggy. This boy is living his best life. I want to be Mack in my next lifetime.
I hope everyone has a PURRFECT week! Stay safe!
Steph
Hi Steph, I too have a cat that has seizures and give him 6 pills a day…3 in the morning and 3 at night. And he’s a ginger cat too! I find it easiest to sit in a recliner with the footstool up and hold him with my knees while I place the pills in the back of his throat and push them down. This way he can’t spit them out. I then give him a “treat”, canned food with gravy to help push them down. This seems to work the best for us with the least amount of stress on both of us! I have pictures and a video of how we do it if you would like to see them. Good luck!
Hope your beautiful Mango didn’t have any episodes this week. Her photo here is just adorable!
In my house when a box comes in house it turns into fight club lol. Especially when they get their monthly Kitnip box which I call the happy fun box. Love Meow Monday. It gets me through the week.
I have 4 rescue cats. They are my joy.
I just want to tell you how much I enjoy Meow Monday. I enjoy seeing your babies.
We started out with 3 abandoned new born babies. 2 have passed on and 1 will be 21 years old this month. I think this cat will out live me.
Crush pill to powder, mix to paste with butter and spread on foreleg. Fastidious kitty will kick medicine off.
That is a great tip!
Cats🐈And PILLS 💊…😝😫Every cat I’VE Ever😵Had WAS A🙀HUGE🔨PAIN TO TRY TO GET A LITTLE💊 DOWN THEIR💣STINKIN THROAT!!🌋
BUUUT, HERE’S THE KEY To Make THIS A SIMPLER TASK: Have A Syringe💉Of Water RIGHT THERE To Squirt A Small Amount Of Water Into The Mouth Immediately After Shoving That Pill Down The Throat!
ALL THE VERY BEST OF LUCK!
Thank you so much. My Mondays are so much brighter. We have had 5 strays over 20 yrs. 3 have gone on to kitty heaven. WE cherish our days with our 2 kids,
I recently started receiving your posts, which I enjoy greatly. Who is chicken legs & how did they get their name?
