The chicken fingers tasted great and took no time to make (a must for me during the week). We dipped them in some honey mustard dressing, but they would be great just by themselves. Give these a try soon - I promise everyone will love them!
Double Cheese Chicken Fingers
adapted from Betty Crocker
- 1/3 cup Bisquick (I used Heart Healthy)
- 1/3 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup crushed Cheez It crackers (I used my food processor)
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
- 1 egg
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- cooking spray
Preheat oven to 450°F. Spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
Mix together Bisquick mix, breadcrumbs, cheese, cheese crackers, garlic salt and oregano leaves. Pour on large plate.
In shallow dish, beat egg slightly. Dip the chicken tenders in egg and then dredge in Bisquick mixture.
Place chicken tenders on the cookie sheet. Lightly spray chicken with cooking spray. Bake 15 minutes.
