No Bake Butterfinger Pie

I’ve had this Butterfinger Pie recipe for ages, but I haven’t made it in a really long time. Chicken Legs was talking about it the other day, so I decided to make it for him. This is super easy and doesn’t require any baking! That is a huge plus in this heat! This dessert only has 4 ingredients. I used a pre-made graham cracker crust, and this came together in minutes. The hardest part of this recipe was waiting for the pie to set up! It was pure torture! The pie is so light and creamy; that makes it SO easy to eat!

This dessert is effortless to make with only 4 simple ingredients. Beat softened cream cheese with an electric mixer in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Fold in cool whip and six crushed Butterfingers candy bars. Spoon cream cheese mixture into a prepared graham cracker crust. Top with more crushed Butterfingers. Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before cutting into slices.

    1. I’ve never frozen this, so I can not say with certainty how it works. If you try it, let us know how it tastes after freezing.

  1. I was just telling my grandson that modifying my Snicker Pie with Butterfingers would probably be a great pie! I have made a great Snicker pie for years that uses the base cream cheese and cool whip but adds peanut butter and chopped snicker bars. I'm going to have to try this Butterfinger pie!

  2. I'm sure this is delicious !It has 2 of the same ingredients as Snickers Dip just substituting the candy 🙂 Gonna try this real soon !!!!

  3. can this pie be frozen? I will be traveling on Thursday and last year when I made it and traveled with it, it got melty. So I thought I may freeze Wednesday so when I travel Thursday it wont happen again.

  4. When you say "chill" do you mean put in the refrigerator or the freezer? I know that sounds silly! Cannot wait to try this!

  5. I've been making this pie for years, it's so easy. You are right, the hardest part is waiting for it to set up!

  6. Thanks, Steph! I did 2/3 of the recipe AND made with the Reese's cups. It turned out great! Had to take baby steps to make it the full four hour waiting period, ugh.

    Thank you 🙂

p.s. Next time I won't be cheap and will buy the Cool Whip brand…

  7. My generic cool whip is 8 oz. I didn't even look when I bought it. Does real cool whip come in 12 oz? Or did you use 1 1/2? Thanks for info!

    1. I would just buy 2 store brand and take out half.. you can use the cool whip on something within 2 weeks or refreeze it.. next time you would just need 1 8 oz store brand whipped topping

  8. Couldn't wait to try this. Bought the ingredients. Just got ready to make this. I only bought 2 candy bars. I hadn't looked at how much it needed, but thought surely 2 would be plenty. Wow, I was so shocked that this uses so much candy! Sad face insereted here!

  9. This looks so yummy and it perfect for the summer! I try not to run the over in the summer, so I'm definitely pinning this for the future 🙂

  10. Simply delicious! What a way to start the day. Can't wait to try this one out.

    Have a great weekend.

    Wishes for tasty dishes,
    Linda @ Tumbleweed Contessa
