Slow Cooker Whiskey Meatballs {Football Friday}

Slow Cooker Whiskey Meatballs - only 6 ingredients! Great for parties or as a main dish served over mashed potatoes or rice. Everyone always asks for the recipe!

These Slow Cooker Whiskey Meatballs are crazy delicious! They are so easy to make and pack a ton of great flavor. They are perfect for tailgating, holiday parties or even dinner. The best part about this recipe is that it only has 6 ingredients!

This recipe uses frozen meatballs. There are many different sizes of meatballs in the frozen food section. I used 1/2 ounce meatballs.  I think they are the perfect bite-sized snack. We made these for tailgating and then ate the leftovers for dinner. If you serve these for dinner, don't miss out on all they yummy sauce in the slow cooker. Make sure to pour the extra sauce over the meatballs when you serve them. YUM!

  1. Good morning!! I'm cooking for a baby shower, at work, on Monday. Now I'm torn between this recipe and the Grape Jelly Meatballs. Which would you recommend? Is the alcohol prevalent in this recipe or does it burn off in the cooking process. I'm so torn now!! Which would you choose? Thanks!

    1. There wasn't any alcohol taste to the meatballs. I love both recipes - you have a hard choice!

  2. I have made these MANY times! First time was for New Years a few years ago. You can smell the bourbon when you take the lid off the crock pot. These are always popular!

    1. I am not sure how long they would need to cook. I've only used frozen meatballs in this recipe.

  5. Any recommendations for good frozen meatballs. I have tried several brands that just didn't taste very good.
