This recipe uses frozen meatballs. There are many different sizes of meatballs in the frozen food section. I used 1/2 ounce meatballs. I think they are the perfect bite-sized snack. We made these for tailgating and then ate the leftovers for dinner. If you serve these for dinner, don't miss out on all they yummy sauce in the slow cooker. Make sure to pour the extra sauce over the meatballs when you serve them. YUM!
Slow Cooker Whiskey Meatballs
- 2 lbs frozen meatballs (1/2 oz size)
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup whiskey or bourbon (Maker's Mark)
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on HIGH for 1-2 hours.
