These Slow Cooker Whiskey Meatballs are crazy delicious! They are so easy to make and pack a ton of great flavor. They are perfect for tailgating, holiday parties or even dinner. The best part about this recipe is that it only has 6 ingredients!

This recipe uses frozen meatballs. There are many different sizes of meatballs in the frozen food section. I used 1/2 ounce meatballs.  I think they are the perfect bite-sized snack. We made these for tailgating and then ate the leftovers for dinner. If you serve these for dinner, don't miss out on all they yummy sauce in the slow cooker. Make sure to pour the extra sauce over the meatballs when you serve them. YUM!

Slow Cooker Whiskey Meatballs

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2-lbs frozen meatballs (1/2 oz size)
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup whiskey or bourbon (Maker's Mark)
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on HIGH for 1-2 hours.

  1. Good morning!! I'm cooking for a baby shower, at work, on Monday. Now I'm torn between this recipe and the Grape Jelly Meatballs. Which would you recommend? Is the alcohol prevalent in this recipe or does it burn off in the cooking process. I'm so torn now!! Which would you choose? Thanks!

  2. I have made these MANY times! First time was for New Years a few years ago. You can smell the bourbon when you take the lid off the crock pot. These are always popular!

  7. Made this for a baby shower thrown at a brewery. Everyone loved them! I made a triple batch and the crowd was not as big as planned. So the left over went to the guests and they were devoured in seconds! Great recipe!!!
