The first recipe I made with the Butterfinger Baking Bits were these Butterfinger Dreams. They are a quick homemade shortbread cookie crust with Butterfingers folded in and topped with a homemade whipped cream with more Butterfingers folded in. These are heavenly! The best part? They only have 6 ingredients! So simple and SOOOO delicious! Make them today. I promise you won't be disappointed!
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending the taping of the CMA Country Christmas courtesy of my friends at Martha White. The taping was at the Grand Old Opry in Nashville. It was great! I am not a big country music fan, but I really, really enjoyed the show. It was really neat to see the behind the scenes of the big show.
I knew all the songs (they were Christmas songs) and most of the artists.
LeAnn Rimes was one of my favorites. She killed it! She walked on stage, sang her song and walked off. One take and it was amazing! Amazing! Pentatonix sang two songs - SO good! Darius Rucker (he will always be Hootie to me) sang two songs as well. Brian Setzer was there - that is him in the middle photo. He rocked it! There were tons of other great music stars that performed - Jewel, Martina McBride, Dan & Shay, Kelsea Ballerina, Charles Kelly, Mickey Guyton, David Nail, and Lindsey Stirling. It was a really fun evening.
Jennifer Nettles hosted the show and she did a great job. She sang and danced and had the most beautiful outfits.
The show airs tonight on at 9/8c on ABC. I can't wait to see the finished product!
