Two Days in Seattle

2 Days in Seattle - what to do, where to eat and where to get the BEST views of the city! Pike Place Market eats, Queen Anne Hill, Space Needle, Chihuly, EMP Museum, Houseboats, Kurt Cobain's house and THE BEST steak you'll ever eat! Seattle is one of my favorite towns!

Our favorite spot on our west coast trip was Seattle. We had both been to Seattle for work, but we had never been together. We were excited to finally go and check out the city.

We fell in LOVE with Seattle. We loved everything about it. I hated that we only had two days to explore. We managed to pack a TON of stuff into those two days!! TONS!

I already have a list of things I want to do when we go back.
What are your favorite things in Seattle? Please leave them in the comments!

Pike Place Market

We woke on our first morning in Seattle and headed straight for Pike Place Market.
We went on a Sunday morning, so it was packed.

Beautiful flowers at Pike Place Market - Seattle, WA - if I lived here I would buy a bouquet every day!
My favorite thing about the market was all the amazing flowers.

Of course we saw the famous fish tossers too.
They weren't tossing a lot of fish while we were standing there though.

We walked around and sampled tons of great food in the market!
We nibbled on a little of this and a little of that.
I'm sharing our favorites below.

Now, there is a LONG line, but it moves quickly.

Piroshky, Piroshky in Pike Place Market, Seattle, WA - home of world famous Russian Pastries - The Beef and Cheese is the best seller!
They were sold out of some of the pastries that we wanted to try, so we had to make quick decisions on what to get.
We got the savory Beef and Cheese - a mix of seasoned ground beef and Columbia Valley Sharp Cheddar. It is their top selling Piroshky.

Piroshky, Piroshky in Pike Place Market, Seattle, WA - home of world famous Russian Pastries - The Cinnamon and Cardamon pastry is a must!
The second Piroshky we sampled was the Cinnamon & Cardamon  - pastry twisted into a braid, accented with raisins and orange peel. Hot out of the oven it is finished off with a Honey Lemon Glaze and a dash of chocolate. It was good, but not the best. I would skip it next time.

We started our second day with breakfast at Biscuit Bitch.
Chicken Legs found this place online and it was at the top of our list of places to eat!
It is a block from Pike Place Market. We tried to eat here on Sunday, but it was slammed!
We decided to come back on Monday when most people would be at work.

Biscuit Bitch is a tiny place. There is a tiny bar that you can eat your biscuit.
There are also a few tables outside.
We started at the tiny stand-up bar and moved outside after a table opened up.

I think it is a requirement to go to the Space Needle every time you are in Seattle.
You can buy tickets ahead of time and schedule your visit.
We did not do this. Fortunately, we were able to buy tickets at the kiosk and walk right up.

The views are great from the top of the Space Needle.
