These Slow Cooker Angel Pork Chops were a huge hit in our house! They are some of the best pork chops I’ve ever made. The pork chops are so tender and full of amazing flavor!

These are called Angel Pork Chops because they are served over angel hair pasta. If you aren’t a fan of pasta, this would also be great over some hot rice or mashed potatoes. Just make sure to spoon all that yummy sauce out of the slow cooker. I could drink the sauce; it is SO good!

This is such a great weeknight meal. It couldn’t be any easier. Just dump everything in the slow cooker and let it work its magic! We have made these several times and loved them every time.

  1. I just threw all the i ingredients in the crockpot without pre-stirring everything together. Do you think it will still be ok?

  2. Such a great recipe. I need to make this for 12 people. Can you layer the pork chops in the crockpot?? I’m assuming I would at the very least need to have 12 pork chops.

  3. One of my go-tos for company. Can easily substitute chicken for the pork chops, but what about shrimp or salmon?

  4. When I try and melt the cream cheese to combine with the other ingredients, then pour on top of the pork chops, the cream cheese always has little lumps. Still tastes great, but any way to avoid that from happening?

    1. You can heat the sauce mixture in a small saucepan on the stovetop before adding it to the slow cooker.

  5. I seldom comment on recipes but this was sooooo good and easy, I had to. One of the best slow cooker recipes I have tried. I used boneless thin cut pork chops, cooked in half the time. Added fresh mushrooms. Delicious!

  6. This recipe is delish!! My husband and I really enjoyed it..the left overs are wonderful too! Thank you for posting this recipe!!

  7. Delicious! I actually shredded my Porkchops and ended up adding the cooked angel hair 1/2 hour before serving to absorb the sauce!! So yummy

  8. Hiya, great recipe! Sounds delicious 🙂
Question though (new to slow cooker),
If I make this for 1 person, would I have to adjust the cooking time?
    Thanks in advance 🙂

    1. I am not sure. I’ve only made this as written. I would guess the cooking time would be about the same, but I really don’t know. I would check it after a few hours. Pork is safe to eat with an internal temperature of 145ºF.

  9. Sooooo yummy!!! It’s been a weekly repeat. I also add in a splash of lemon juice. It’s so yummy!!

  10. Can this recipe be put together and cooked on a stove top or in the oven? Thanks for the delicious dinner idea.

  11. I was wondering if this could be made on the stove top? Cooking the pork chops and then maybe adding the sauce ingredients to a big enough pan to finish? Do you think it would still reduce/thicken up? I was looking to try something new and came across this recipe. Thanks for the delicious dinner idea! 🙂

  12. This is one of my favorite recipes. I make it regularly and have been asked to share the recipe several times. I love that it’s as easy as it is delicious! I always double the gravy ingredients because I love it so much I use it as gravy over rice or pasta or (my favorite) mashed potatoes.

  13. I just want to say that this is delicious!! I have used both chicken and porkchops have tried/ used both italian and ranch dry mix with both and turns out great each time…Definitely a rotation on our dinner menu. Everyone in my family eats this( and have a few picky ones). I always serve mine over rice vs noodles though due to preference. Thanks for the great recipe!!!!

  14. Can I skip the cream cheese? My fiancé hates it. Should I add extra of something else to make up for it?

  15. This looks so good but unfortunately my husband hates cream cheese and sour cream. Can you suggest what I could use in place of that?

    1. I don’t have Instant Pot/Pressure Cooker cooking times and directions for this recipe. It is for the slow cooker.

  16. Thank you for posting! I cannot wait to make this!

Forgive me if this is a dumb question – What size crockpot is this recipe meant for? I just ordered a 4qt online for me and my husband, and it seems like I may have to cut this recipe down to fit.

  17. Thank you for this recipe. I made it today for the homeless folks at a mission. They loved these pork chops. A server said they raved about them. I did brown each side to lock in the juices (all 70 pounds!) and I did not add all of the butter. The sauce did not split but there was a layer of pork fat on the top which made it look so. No matter, they were delicious. I did them in roasting ovens which worked really well even though the pork was stacked.

  18. My husband and I are newly weds and this has become his favorite dish I cook! I usually double the sauce, put it over noodles and put the pork chop on top! We usually use lean pork chops(half inch thick), but I have a question. Can you use thicker pork chops (inch and a half to two inches)? Or instead of 6 lean pork chops bump the number up to 10? Would I then need to increase time? I try to meal prep over several days and he eats up the 6 lean pork chops to quickly! Thank you!

  19. I used white wine but added a chicken bullion cube To not skimp the extra flavor. I also added quarter cup of lemon juice. Served over asparagus in addition to the angel hair. This was exactly what I hoped for. Ultra tender and flavorful thanks for the great recipe

  20. What size pork chops are being used int his recipe? Too small of pork chops won't they dry out cooking for that long or do they just get more tender?

    1. If you use white wine, make sure it is one you like to drink. ???? I've used both wine and broth and it tastes good both ways.

  21. I like to make slow cooker recipes for when I'm at work. How does it turn out if you aren't there to stir in the cream cheese block?

    1. The cream cheese goes in with all the other ingredients. You can just start everything together before you eat it.

  22. I've made this recipe for years using chicken! It is delicious! I've never thought of using pork but will definitely give it a try.
