White Chocolate Peanut Butter Krispies recipe
White Chocolate Peanut Butter Krispies - only 5 ingredients! White chocolate, peanut butter, peanuts, rice kripie cereal and marshmallows. Great holiday and party treat! Everyone always asks for the recipe!
I had this candy a few years ago at a Christmas party and went home and immediately tried to replicate it. This candy is a real crowd pleaser. It is creamy and crunchy without being overly rich. I could eat a ton of these little things. This is very easy to put together and it makes a ton. Make a batch and share with your friends!

Well don't these look fabulous. I've never seen anything quite like them. Will save this recipe and give them a try. Thanks Stephanie
ReplyDeleteMy son and his girlfriend are totally going to make this! I just showed them and they fell in love with it.

ReplyDeleteYour father brought some of your treats to my job last week (Thanks Steve! The girls at the Shoe Station loved everything!) These little gems were gone before we all left at 5:00 that afternoon. I'm so glad that you posted the receipe. Now we can make these for our Christmas party, unless of course, your dad would like to send us some!
ReplyDeleteLaJoyce
LaJoyce - I am so glad you enjoyed the treats! These peanut butter krispies are one of my favorite holiday treats!
ReplyDeleteStephanie, I make something very similar to this but it has the Captain Crunch PB ceral in it and doesn't call for peanut butter and I can only imagine that would make it even better! My question, for my recipe I used the white almond bark, it just always melts better and smoother than the chips for me. Do you know what the equivlent would be? My recipe calls for a pound or one package, would it be the same? Thanks! I might also try this with regular milk chocolate almond bark as I already have some of that at home begging to be used and you can never go wrong with chocolate and PB!
ReplyDeleteis captain crunch PB cereal made with peanut butter?
DeleteAny ideas for someone with a peanut allergy
Shelly - OMG Captain Crunch in this would be AMAZING. I am going to buy a box at the grocery store today. I am going to make some ASAP!
ReplyDeleteI think one package of almond bark would be enough. It does melt alot better than white chocolate. I use almond bark on popcorn mixes and one package covers two bags of microwave popcorn and add-ins.
You are killing me with the chocolate version too!
Thanks so much for this recipe! It's a nice change from the regular Christmas faire! I took a little liberties! ;-) I melted 3 bags of white chocolate, 1 cup of peanut butter.... used the same amounts of rice krispies and marshmallows. Didn't have roasted peanuts so I added walnuts and milk chocolate chips! I put them in mini muffin liners and they look so cute in the tins for Christmas! Thanks again for a great recipe!
ReplyDeleteI made these for my Christmas work treats. They just melt in your mouth and are so creamy. I like the salty/sweet combination. This recipe will definitely be a keeper for me. Thank you for sharing this recipe and all of your others.
ReplyDeleteOh my! just made these and they are awesome!!! Thank you for your website! Just came across it and can't believe I've missed out on so many great recipes!! Keep up the great work! :)
ReplyDeleteMade these many times growing up for the holidays using regular captain crunch and rice krispie combo. The colored marshmallows are good in them too! I just started making them again the last couple years and will never stop! They are too good and I always get loads of compliments!
ReplyDeleteWe made these at Christms and they were an absolute hit. My husband called them "cat puke" cookies because of what they look like... hehehe (we have cats) but no lie, these are the best cookies ever. I'm making them again for Easter :) They are AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeleteI do the captain crunch ones too but with regular captain crunch.
ReplyDelete1/2 pkg white almond bark, 1/4 cup peanut butter, 1 cup salted peanuts, 2-3 cups captain crunch, 1 cup marshmallows.
I can't wait to try the Rice Krispie one though!
Not sure if I like the candy the best or the cute red and white kitty in the background!
ReplyDeletei made it with cocoa krispies and it is soooooooooooo good
ReplyDeleteMmm yummY! cant wait to try! Thanks For sharing!
ReplyDeleteCan I use candy melts for this or does it have to be white chocolate chips? They look delectable!!
ReplyDeleteJanira - you can use candy melts or vanilla almond bark. It will taste fine. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHi there. Can you suggest something to use instead of marshmellows? My daughter doesn't like them. Iwould love tomake this for Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteNancy - I'm not a marshmallow fan either, but they taste good in this recipe. If you want to leave them out, you can just increase the other ingredients a little bit.
ReplyDeleteHi! These look awesome. About how many does this recipe yield? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know about how many tablespoon sized clusters this recipe makes? I can't decide if I want to double the recipe or not.

ReplyDeleteThese look awesome! Just wondering if you can freeze them?
ReplyDeletecl- I don't think they would freeze well with the candy coating. You can try it.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say that this would totally be gluten free if you stuck with the krispies! So hard to find something yummy and gluten free cookie wise. No substitutes needed. Sensitivities vary, but as long as none of the ingredients are processed along side grains, this should be safe for GFers.
ReplyDeleteThese are pretty amazing, delish but rich. Fortunately for me I could only eat one! Mine are keeping nicely in a sealed container, on an unheated Central NY porch. My husband hates marshmallows and didn't even notice they were in there. My blobs yielded about 72 cookies, using not an overflowing silverware tablespoon. :0)
ReplyDeleteThese do look fabulous but I just wanted to put it out there that if you are looking for a gluten free version don't use regular Rice Krispies as they have barley malt.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recipe!
Just wanted to give you the heads up to this: http://www.quickneasyrecipes.net/white-chocolate-peanut-butter-krispies/
ReplyDeleteThese look deadly! Can't wait to try them . Just pinned..Mmmmm
ReplyDeleteyou have a cat!! so do i
ReplyDeleteella - I have 3 cats. That is Jack in the photo.
ReplyDeleteIs there a way to make them without the peanuts and peanut butter- we have allergies and don't use either in recipes!
ReplyDeleteYou can just melt the white chocolate and mix in the cerea and marshmallows.
DeleteWe tried sunbutter. Yummy!!!
DeleteI can't wait to try these with gluten free rice krispies. I think I'm going to leave out the marshmallows. My mom used to make something like this but with white chocolate, peanut butter captain crunch, and peanuts. They are amazingly delicious!
ReplyDeleteI make the exact same thing every year for Christmas but they are called Inhalers. Can you guess why??? lol :)
ReplyDeleteI sure can! LOL!
DeleteHow much does this make? Trying to decide if it's enough for 6 dozen or if I should double the recipe. Thx!
ReplyDeleteIt just depends on how big you make the bites. I think you would need to double this recipe to accommodate that many people.
DeleteOk, thanks! :)
DeleteCan you suggest a replacement for the peanut butter ? (Severe peanut allergy) maybe cashew butter ? Thank you !
ReplyDeleteBiscoff spread works great in this. Cashew butter or almonds sounds good too
DeleteThank you !
DeleteHow long will these last? Do they need refrigerated? I want to make this for a cookie exchange on the 20th, Will they still be good on Christmas? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI don't refeigerate them. They will be fine by Christmas if you have the cookie party on the 20th. They keep at least a week or so. Never had any make it past a week - we eat them too fast.
DeleteThanks for replying so quickly!
DeleteFor extra crunch, add 2 cups of thin pretzel sticks snapped in half. It not only adds crunch, but the salt on the pretzels nicely counteracts the sweetness. I also leave out the marshmallows as it doesn't affect the taste and it cuts down considerably on the sugar
ReplyDeleteDo you think you could use Rice Chex for these too, since they are gluten free? And possibly using Sunbutter to make them peanut free as well. So many different ways to make these, I'll just have to give them all a try!!
ReplyDeleteI too am curious about the Sun Butter. I'm going to try that so may son can enjoy these! I'll keep you posted!
DeleteI've never cooked with Sun Butter
DeleteSo easy! Everyone loved them, definitely a keeper :p
ReplyDeleteCan you give me an idea of about how many this recipe makes? As above, want to make them for cookie exchange and will need 5 dozen. Double the recipe?
ReplyDeleteIt will totally depend on how you scoop the mixture - it makes about 9 cups of candy. I like to drop it in smaller spoonfuls so they are bite sized. I think you could get 60 small krispies out of this. If you want bigger krispies, you might need to double it.
DeleteI just finished making em for a party tomorrow and maybe some for Christmas Eve, if there are any left. I'm hoping they go well with the Triple Chocolate Peanut Cashew clusters. :)
ReplyDeleteThis stuff is insanely good. I read thru the comments and the Captain Crunch caught my eye. Made it last night. Thank you for the recipe Stephanie!
ReplyDeleteDo you melt the peanut butter and chocolate together?
DeleteAlso, do you just pour the chocolate on OR MIX IT ALL TOGETHER?
Do you need to melt the marshmallows? Or will they melt when you put the melted chocolate in?
ReplyDeleteThe marshmallows don’t melt in this recipe
DeleteCould I use milk chocolate chips and nutella? Will the nutella have the same consistency as the peanut butter??
ReplyDeleteYou could certainly give it a whirl!
DeleteI made them with Holiday Rice Krispies this year! Made them look so festive!
ReplyDeleteSO fun!! I'll have to try that!
DeleteThese things were SO good! Dangerous!
ReplyDeleteThese were SO good it’s dangerous!
ReplyDeleteLove easy recipes like this that turn out fantastic!!! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWondering if these would be good with cocoa pebbles, they are gluten-free and I have to have gluten-free
ReplyDeleteCannot figure out what went wrong...my white chocolate/peanut butter never really melted. I ended up mixing it all together and pressing it into a 9x13 pan to cut into squares. Hopefully, they will still taste good!
