Pin This RecipeThese Slow Cooker Angel Pork Chops were a huge hit in our house! They are some of the best pork chops I’ve ever made. The pork chops are so tender and full of amazing flavor!
These are called Angel Pork Chops because they are served over angel hair pasta. If you aren’t a fan of pasta, this would also be great over some hot rice or mashed potatoes. Just make sure to spoon all that yummy sauce out of the slow cooker. I could drink the sauce; it is SO good!
This is such a great weeknight meal. It couldn’t be any easier. Just dump everything in the slow cooker and let it work its magic! We have made these several times and loved them every time.
Slow Cooker Angel Pork Chops
Equipment:
Ingredients:
- 4 to 6 boneless pork chops
- 1 (0.7-oz) packet Italian dressing mix (do not make the dressing)
- 4- oz cream cheese
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 1 (10.5-oz) can Unsalted Cream of Chicken Soup
- ¾ cup chicken broth or white wine
- ½ pound cooked angel hair pasta
Instructions:
- Place pork chops in slow cooker. Combine Italian dressing mix, cream cheese, butter, soup and broth. Pour over pork chops. Cover and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours.
- Serve over cooked angel hair pasta.
Notes:
- I suggest using Unsalted Cream of Chicken Soup in this dish to control the sodium.

I just threw all the i ingredients in the crockpot without pre-stirring everything together. Do you think it will still be ok?
yes
can bone in pork chops be used for this recipe
Did you try it with bone in? Looking at the recipe and have a freezer full of bone in!
You can do this with bone-in pork chops. They will take a little longer to cook, but work just fine.
Such a great recipe. I need to make this for 12 people. Can you layer the pork chops in the crockpot?? I’m assuming I would at the very least need to have 12 pork chops.
One of my go-tos for company. Can easily substitute chicken for the pork chops, but what about shrimp or salmon?
When I try and melt the cream cheese to combine with the other ingredients, then pour on top of the pork chops, the cream cheese always has little lumps. Still tastes great, but any way to avoid that from happening?
You can heat the sauce mixture in a small saucepan on the stovetop before adding it to the slow cooker.
I seldom comment on recipes but this was sooooo good and easy, I had to. One of the best slow cooker recipes I have tried. I used boneless thin cut pork chops, cooked in half the time. Added fresh mushrooms. Delicious!
SO glad you enjoyed it!
This recipe is delish!! My husband and I really enjoyed it..the left overs are wonderful too! Thank you for posting this recipe!!
Delicious! I actually shredded my Porkchops and ended up adding the cooked angel hair 1/2 hour before serving to absorb the sauce!! So yummy
Hiya, great recipe! Sounds delicious 🙂
Question though (new to slow cooker),
If I make this for 1 person, would I have to adjust the cooking time?
Thanks in advance 🙂
I am not sure. I’ve only made this as written. I would guess the cooking time would be about the same, but I really don’t know. I would check it after a few hours. Pork is safe to eat with an internal temperature of 145ºF.
Sooooo yummy!!! It’s been a weekly repeat. I also add in a splash of lemon juice. It’s so yummy!!
Sooo yummy! I add in a splash or two of lemon juice
Can this recipe be put together and cooked on a stove top or in the oven? Thanks for the delicious dinner idea.
I’m sure it could. You can definitely try it.
I was wondering if this could be made on the stove top? Cooking the pork chops and then maybe adding the sauce ingredients to a big enough pan to finish? Do you think it would still reduce/thicken up? I was looking to try something new and came across this recipe. Thanks for the delicious dinner idea! 🙂
This is one of my favorite recipes. I make it regularly and have been asked to share the recipe several times. I love that it’s as easy as it is delicious! I always double the gravy ingredients because I love it so much I use it as gravy over rice or pasta or (my favorite) mashed potatoes.
