Chicken Verde Dip
Are you ready for the Super Bowl?!?! Do you go out or stay home for the game? We stay home. I have to be able to watch all the commercials! Who’s with me? I am usually more interested in the commercials than the game, but this year I am actually interested in the game. We are pulling for The Panthers at our house. I have my fingers crossed my man, Cam, can win!
We don’t cook a big meal for the game, we make a bunch of our favorite tailgate recipes and graze all night. Cowboy Queso, Pigs in a Blanket, Whiskey Meatballs, Crack Dip and this Chicken Verde Dip are definitely on the menu.
This Chicken Verde Dip has quickly become a favorite in our house. Cream cheese, southwest seasoning, chicken, salsa verde and pepper jack cheese. O-M-G! Crazy good!! This was gone in a flash at our football party! I will have to double it next time! Whip this up today and refrigerate it until Sunday. We served this with corn chips, but it would also be great with tortilla chips!

Can this go in a car crockpot?
Not sure what a car crockpot is, but it should be fine in a slow cooker.
Was a crowd pleaser this holiday. I used can chicken, which made it super easy. Will make this again.
do you cook your chicken or used canned?
The recipes uses 1-1/2 cups cooked chopped chicken – I used chicken from a rotisserie chicken. You can certainly use canned chicken if that is what you prefer.
Where do I purchase Southwest seasoning? Is it a bottle in the spice aisle or perhaps a packet in the international aisle?
I found it in the spice isle.
What is Southwest seasoning?
It is a seasoning blend that is called Southwest Seasoning. McCormick makes one.
Cam's the man!
