Where to Eat at Walt Disney World - cupcakes, pizza, breakfast waffles and THE BEST steak EVER! You don't want to miss this post. You need to add these places to your list for your next Walt Disney World Trip! #disney #wdw #waltdisneyworld

We’ve been going to Disney World a lot this past year. We bought an annual pass last May and have been making sure that we are getting our money’s worth out of it!! We took our last trip on our current annual pass over Easter.
Since we have been going down so much, we had the opportunity to try new restaurants and experiences.
I finally let Chicken Legs play golf! We also ate at a place that is our new FAVORITE place. I can’t believe we’ve been missing out on this place for so many years!
We are going to have to spend a week at a time in WDW to be able to fit in all our favorite restaurants from now own! LOL!

We always stay at The Swan or The Dolphin next to the Boardwalk. We love the location because we can walk to Epcot. We also walk by the Boardwalk Bakery everyday. We snagged a Rose Gold Cupcake on this trip. The ears were hollow and made out of chocolate. The icing was really light and airy. Overall, we gave it two thumbs up! I don’t know if they still have this exact cupcake. I think everything is Millenial Pink now.

Another great spot for cupcakes is at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. It is downstairs next to The Land. When we were there, they had this ADORABLE Rose Gold Cupcake. The cake in this cupcake was a chocolate/vanilla mix. Really good.

As I mentioned above, Chicken Legs finally played golf at Disney World. He played, and I drove the cart. He played The Plam and The Magnolia courses. Both courses are right behind The Magic Kingdom. He overwhelmingly preferred The Palm. It was in better shape and the greens were nicer than The Magnolia. The Magnolia course has a Mickey sand trap. SO that was a fun hole. We got lucky and played with some really fun people.

After golf, we checked out the restaurant at the Shades of Green resort (where the golf courses are). We ordered a quick lunch at Evergreen’s. Chicken Legs got the Turkey Club.
The Club came with chips and you couldn’t substitute them for another side. Chicken Legs wanted fries, so he just ordered a side in addition to the sandwich.

I opted for the Chicken Nachos. They were good, but not great.
The chicken was good, but I’ve had better nachos.
Nine Dragons
After our second day of golfing, we skipped eating at the course and headed to Epcot.
We shared some Bao Buns – pork belly & chicken.

The Chicken Bao Buns were our favorite! SO good!!

We also shared an order of Kung Pao Chicken.
It is my favorite Chinese food EVER!

Sleepy Hollow

The Nutella Waffle from Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom has been on my “to-eat” list FOREVER!
We finally decided to grab one for breakfast. O-M-G!
Fresh waffle slathered in Nutella and topped with strawberries, bananas and blueberries.
SO good! I will definitely be making this at home. YUM!

Liberty Tree Tavern
The Liberty Tree Tavern is our favorite place to eat lunch in Magic Kingdom.
Reservations are required.
This trip, Chicken Legs got the Fish & Chips. He loved it.

I got my standard Cheeseburger. It is SO good! One of the best in all of the parks.

Now the real reason we LOVE Liberty Tree Tavern – the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake.
It is to-die-for delicious!

Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano
I mentioned above that we have a new favorite place in all of Walt Disney World. That place is Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano in Hollywood Studios. It is next to the Muppets movie and it is DELICIOUS!

The meal starts with some bread and yummy seasoned olive oil.

We started the meal with the Carne d’Italia Flatbread
Pepperoni, House-made Sausage, Pancetta, and spicy Marinara Sauce
It was about 6-inches round. It was a good size to share with a few people.

For our entrees, Chicken Legs got the Grilled Chicken Pasta.
It was super tasty. Not super heavy. A really light and flavorful dinner.

I opted for the Charred Strip Steak with Four-Cheese Macaroni with Pancetta, Aged Balsamic-Shallot Butter, and Chianti Wine Reduction.

O-M-G! Y’all!! This was THE BEST steak I’ve ever eaten!
We were stunned at how good this steak was.
It was SO good, that we cancelled our dinner on our last night and ate this steak AGAIN!
I am still dreaming of how great this steak tasted.

Our on second visit, Chicken Legs got the Pork Osso Bucco.
So tender and lick-the-plate delicious.

For dessert, don’t miss this super cute Spaghetti & Meatball cupcake on the kids menu.
It is a Chocolate Cupcake with “Spaghetti” Frosting and a Chocolate “Meatball”‘ with a Strawberry “Marinara Sauce” and White Chocolate “Cheese”.
Really delicious!
We are still amazed at how great Mama Melrose’s was. I can’t believe we have walked past this place all these years. I also can’t believe my favorite steak is served next door to the Muppet’s movie! LOL!

Via Napoli
Our favorite place in Epcot is Via Napoli in Italy.
We LOVE the arancini rice balls. I really need to get my own next time!
I hate having to share! They are SO good!!

We shared a bowl of the Pasta with sausage and tomatoes in a cream sauce.
It wasn’t our favorite.

The star of the meal was the PIZZA!
I just love this pizza SO much. The crust is crispy & chewy.
The sauce is so light and fresh, and the mozzarella is perfecto!
We are headed to Italy later this year. I cannot wait to eat the real thing!!

Whoopie Pies
One of our favorite treats on this trip were the Whoopie Pies from Sweet Spells in Hollywood Studios. We got the Cookies & Cream and a Red Velvet. We preferred the Cookies & Cream. The Red Velvet was delicious too (we totally ate it), we just preferred the Cookies & Cream.

Right after our trip, it was announced that Sweet Spells is closing! OMG! NO!
I am hoping that these treats will show up at across the street at the Trolley Car Café.
If you find them, let me know where they are!!
