Where to Eat in St. Augustine, Florida – we found several hidden gems in St. Augustine that you MUST try on your next trip. Pizza, Burgers, Sandwiches, martinis, fried seafood and CRAZY milkshakes! Something for everyone!!
This post has been a long time coming! We spend several days down in St. Augustine, FL at the beginning of May. We go down every year for The Players golf tournament. This is one of my favorite trips that we take every year. I just LOVE it. This was the last year that the tournament will be held in May. It moves to March next year. We already have our room booked!
Chicken Legs loves the golf tournament, and I love all the amazing restaurants! We ate at a couple of old favorites and several new places! We ate SO much good food on this trip! After posting all these pictures of the food, I am ready to go back!! I think Chicken Legs and I need to plan a golf trip ASAP!
Pizza Dina was one of our favorite finds on this trip. It is located downtown in the historic area. It had crazy good ratings on Yelp. I made note to try it if we wanted a quick lunch while shopping.
My Mom went plain jane with a slice of cheese.
I got crazy with a slice of pepperoni. OMG! This is some of the best pizza ever!
Look at all that cheese!!!!!
Pizza Dina has calzones, salads and paninis.
I can’t wait to bring Chicken Legs back here!
The Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops
It has blazing hot outside, so we stopped for a popsicle at The Hyppo.
It is a super hip place and a great way to cool off on a super hot day.
All the popsicles are all-natural and they have a TON of flavors to choose from.
Cap’s on the Water was recommended to us by the bartender at the Sawgrass Marriott in Ponte Vedra, FL. She said it was one of her favorite places for dinner, so I added it to my list for this year.
I can’t believe we’ve never come out here before!
The VIEW!!!!
We started with a crab cake. It was really good.
Much better than Harry’s!
Can’t beat the Caesar Salad.
My parents split the Seafood Trio.
Fried shrimp, crab cakes, fried fish nuggets and hush puppies.
Chicken Legs got the grouper.
It got the steak. Look at that GARLIC BUTTER!!!!
We LOVED Cap’s on the Water. Chicken Legs and I will definitely be back on our next trip.

Being a native next time you gotta try Flavours Eatery, Southbeach Gril, Oasis, Florida Cracker Cafe, Kilwins, Old City Subs, Antonioās pizza, Hurricanes, thereās many more but those are some more to try
Do you know if Harry's Bar & Grill is fashioned after the famous place of the same name in Florence. Made popular, at least in this country, by Vincent Price & Boris Karloff? I have their Shrimp Aurora recipe and will treat our friends to it on July 4th.
Hi Steph, Where to eat guides are so appreciated! I asked my husband, "Is it bad that all the things I want to do on vacation are just places I want to eat?" I also keep notes on my phone of restaurant recommendations in case we go somewhere. Saving this!
