Corn Chips Tossed in Ranch and Red Pepper Flakes

Stop what you are doing and whip up a batch of these Spicy Ranch Fritos. I am obsessed with them! Corn chips tossed in ranch dressing mix and red pepper flakes. OMG! SO good! These chips are great on their own, dipped into your favorite party dip, or on top of a big bowl of soup or chili. However you eat them, you must make a batch ASAP. I always keep the ingredients in the pantry so I can whip up this spicy snack whenever the craving hits.

How to Make Spicy Ranch Fritos

These chips are super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. Place a bag of corn chips in a large bowl. Stir together ranch dressing mix, canola oil, and red pepper flakes. Pour over the chips and toss to coat. Spread the chips on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Let the chips cool and enjoy!

  • I used original Fritos, but you can use larger Scoops Fritos if you prefer.
  • Feel free to use any flavor of corn chips. These would be great with chili cheese Fritos!

  • Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your personal preference.
  • How long do Spicy Ranch Fritos last? They will keep at least a week in an air-tight container. I use a ziplock bag.
  • Are Spicy Ranch Fritos gluten-free? Yes! All of the ingredients are gluten-free.

These spicy corn chips are the ultimate snack food. They are great for parties, tailgating, and holiday snacking. I like to give these chips as holiday gifts too. I put them in a cellophane bag and tie them up with some ribbon. Everyone loves them!

  • Preheat oven to 250ºF.
  • In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients. Spread chips on large rimmed baking sheet.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minuts. Cool and store in a resealable bag.
