This dish is SO delicious.  I’ve had this recipe bookmarked for years, but I never got around to making it.  I am kicking myself for not trying this sooner.  It is SOOOOO GOOD!  The best part of this dish is that it is incredibly simple to make.  It requires not marinating or prep. Just sprinkle the seasoning on the chicken, cook and add cream. It takes about 15 minutes total.  You can’t beat that! I like to serve this over angel hair pasta, but it would also be good with mashed potatoes.  Next time we are going to try a combination of half chicken and half andouille sausage. I can’t wait!

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  • Combine salt, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Sprinkle over both sides of chicken tenders.
  • In large saute pan, melt half of the butter over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken tenders until done, about 8 minutes.
  • Pour the cream and remaining butter into the skillet. Lower heat and simmer until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes. Serve chicken and sauce over pasta or mashed potatoes, if desired.

  2. Oh man I was skeptical at first but this turned out so dang good! We doubled the recipe and added a little fresh parmesan on top while cooking and a bit when served its absolutely delicious.

  3. Delicious , quick and easy and a great lunch with my husband. I lit a few candles, put on some music and we sat at the “good” dining room table and didn’t eat at the kitchen countertop! Even had carnivore red Zinfandel with it. A treat! If you like garlic it was a bit garlicky and good! If you don’t like it, scale back. There was no heat but I did use exactly what the recipe said. This recipe needs no substitutions. I’d save substituting for when you’re free wheel cooking with what you have on hand. ❤️

  5. Made this recipe tonight. Thickened sauce with 2 t. corn starch and served over Cavatappi noodles and Lesueur peas on top. Flavor was great, but will try rice next time.

  6. I just finished making this recipe. HOLY COW…this is by far the best recipe I've gotten off Pinterest. I will be making this often. The seasonings and the sauce are lip-smacking good. The sauce could be used with other meats. Pork chops and shrimp. I added parmesan cheese to the sauce..put it over the top like others suggested. Don't hesitate to make this. The BEST.

  7. This recipe is sooo simple, yet sooo delicious! I have made it several time and it is always a hit with my family. You can adjust the spices to suit your family…we tend to like it a little spicier.

  8. I made this tonight and followed the recipe exactly other than only using 1lb of tenderloins. My sauce would not thicken at all. It was the consistence of water. Any suggestions?
