These Crack Keto Biscuits are AH-MAZ-ING! Even if you aren’t doing the Keto diet, you are going to LOVE this bread. Low-carb bread loaded with cheddar, bacon, and ranch – so good! I made these to go with a steak dinner last weekend and we gobbled them up! We had a couple of leftover biscuits. I warmed them up and ate them with some scrambled eggs for breakfast. Perfect!
How to Make Keto Biscuits with Almond Flour
These Crack Keto Biscuits are super easy to make. Start with melting some cream cheese and mozzarella cheese. I just popped it in the microwave for about a minute. Next stir in some baking powder, eggs, almond flour, ranch dressing mix, cheddar cheese, and bacon. Form the dough into balls and let rest 10 minutes before baking. So easy!
I used a 10-inch skillet and a large cookie scoop and got 11 biscuits. If you don’t want individual biscuits, I think you could just put the dough in the skillet or baking pan and make a loaf of bread. I like to brush the cooked biscuits with some melted butter and dried parsley.
The key to making these Crack Keto Biscuits is using superfine almond flour. Almond flour is pretty common in stores. I bought mine at Publix and Walmart. I used King Arthur Flour brand. I also like Bob’s Red Mill Almond Flour.
Can Crack Keto Biscuits Be Frozen?
I have not frozen these Crack Keto Biscuits, but I am sure they would be just fine frozen after you have baked them. To reheat after freezing, thaw and either reheat in the microwave or wrap in foil and reheat in the oven.

These were amazing! We had with dinner the first night. We stored in the refrigerator. Had another for breakfast.
Wow! Best ever! Had to use DF cream cheese and DF cheddar, but these are top-drawer! Better than Red Lobster.
I tried this recipe again for the 2nd time. However I used it as a topping for my keto chicken pot pie. My family loved it and they are not on keto diet ❤️
Sounds delicious!
Made these last night and they were awesome! I did not have a cast iron pan so I put them in a glass pie plate. Turned out just like the photo. Definitely making these again. Perfect for a bread fix.
Genius idea! Thanks for sharing!
My daughter can’t have Almond flour, can coconut flour be substituted?
I have only made the recipe as written, so I can not say.
Did you try this with coconut flour?
My husband & I are absolutely OBSESSED with these biscuits!!! They’ve been a saving grace for us on keto & everyone that has tried them asks for the recipe. We can’t thank you enough for sharing!
These turned out great! With definitely make again!! Thank you for the recipe
I’ve tried many different recipes for keto friendly bread or biscuits, and this is by far the best! Most end up tasting too “eggy”, and the consistency is often more like a quiche than a biscuit. But that was definitely not true of these biscuits! They reminded me a lot of the cheddar bay biscuits from Red Lobster, in both flavor and texture. Followed the recipe exactly as written. Delicious!
I could roll my dough out too sticky..I had to use a ice cream scoop …it worked! Yummy!
This looks really good – but I’m saving this recipe to try when I get to the maintenance phase of Keto. I’m on a strict Keto now (less than 20 total carbs per day) and using the handy recipe nutrition calculator Brenda provided (thanks!) https://www.verywellfit.com/recipe-nutrition-analyzer-4157076 each one is about 4.2 carbs (when making 12 biscuits). Can’t wait to try this!
This biscuit is Amazing. Cooked them twice in one day! Lol second batch however we added cut up fresh jalapeños and I cooked it on my traeger at 400 degrees. Took a little longer than regular oven, just Cooke till the top is nice and golden brown. Came out amazing and the jalapeños was a delicious touch.
Exactly what I was thinking of doing. Similar to Whataburger Cheddar Biscuit. Can’t wait!
Loved these! I’m thinking of trying it as a pizza dough!
This recipe is simply delicious. Even more than I expected! I made 2 of this recipe, one in which I used jalapeño I stead of bacon for my picky husband, and it was a hit too! This recipe will definitely be made and remade here! Thank you 🙂
I just made these & I love them!! I went exactly by the recipe, even putting fresh butter over them after I took them out of the oven. Awesome! I’ll be sharing this recipe!
I made mines came out looking like the one in the picture so beautiful. I love them it was a bit to salty for me next time I bake this I’m going to put 1/2 packet of the ranch mix instead of the whole packet
I have these chillin in the fridge now but I am so worried. Not only did I forget the baking powder I realized after I dumped the ranch packet in that it was fiesta ranch. Well crap this isn’t going to be much of a breakfast biscuit. Lol
The baking powder is going to be an issue. The ranch packet is just for seasoning, so you are fine on that. You need the baking powder for the biscuits to rise.
These are a winner! I switch up the seasonings (garlic, smoked paprika, pepper flakes) and use turkey bacon. They are great as hamburger buns too. Thank you for the recipe.
Sounds delicious!! Love the hamburger idea!
Absolutely fantastic recipe!
I bypass the stovetop and go straight to the oven, baking for about 20-25 minutes.
Thank you so very much for this wonderful recipe!!
