Pin This RecipeNo-Bake Lemon Pie with Cool Whip
This No-Bake Lemon Pie is ridiculously easy to make and tastes great! The best part of the recipe is that there are only 4 ingredients – graham cracker crust, cool whip, sweetened condensed milk, and lemon juice. That is it! The pie takes about 4 hours to set up. I have to confess; it was incredibly hard to wait! Once we could finally taste it, we loved it! It is so light and has just the right amount of lemon flavor.
How to Make No-Bake Lemon Pie
As I said, this pie is super simple to make. Whisk together milk and lemon juice. Carefully stir in a tub of cool-whip. Pour the mixture into a prepared graham cracker crust and chill.
- If you want the pie to be yellow, add a few drops of yellow food coloring.
- We topped this pie with some whipped cream. You can also use cool whip. Either way, I promise it will taste delicious!
- You can use a store-bought or homemade graham cracker crust.
- The pie will keep in the refrigerator for about a week.
- Can No-Bake Lemon Pie be frozen? Yes! When ready to serve, remove the pie from the freezer and let thaw. Top with the pie the topping of your choice before serving.
Easy Dessert Recipe for a Crowd
I love to make this pie for holidays and cookouts. This easy pie will easily serve up to 8 people. Feel free to make a couple if you have a larger crowd. As I said, I like to top each slice with a little whipped cream or cool whip and some lemon zest. Give this a try the next time you need an effortless dessert. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Can you use homemade whipped cream instead of cool whip?
Do you use deep dish graham cracker crust or just regular one?
Deep dish
This was delicious and super easy to make. Everyone loved it!
I don’t like graham crackers so I made this using a Keebler Pecan Crust. Delicious!!
I tried using a Keebler Shortbread Crust, but it fell apart. I ended up using a Diamond Pecan Crust, and was very thankful I had that extra crust! I also added some grated lemon rind to bump up the lemon flavor.
Am about to make this for dinner guests and my tub of cool whip says 1L….oh no…
That looks delicious…and so easy! I love anything lemon, so I'll give this a try 🙂
I make a similar pie. You mix a regular container of cool whip, a regular container of yogurt and a small box of jello mix. (match the yogurt to the jello flavor) pour in a graham cracker crust and chill. You can make it really low in calorie by using low fat and diet jello.
You made me giggle with "the internets." Looks delish!!
The tartness and deliciousness of this pie is enhanced by adding 1 tsp of fresh lemon zest to the filling. My mom (and then dad when mom was no longer able) made this pie for years!
