This recipe was inspired by my friend Joan. When I posted my recipe for Bubble Up Pizza she emailed me and told me she was going to try it - with a few changes. Her family doesn't like red sauce (I can't even imagine), so she was going to use shrimp and alfredo instead.
I loved the alfredo idea, but I don't do shrimp (not a seafood person). I opted for a chicken alfredo pizza (of course). It turned out great! I still prefer the orginal Bubble Up Pizzza, but I would turn this White Bubble Up Pizza down! Thanks, Joan, for a wonderful new twist to pizza night!
White Bubble Up Pizza
(Printable Recipe)
2 cans (12oz) golden layer buttermilk biscuits (Pillsbury Grands! Jr)
1 jar (15oz) alfredo sauce
2 cups mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 cups chopped chicken (or 1 pound of shrimp)
mushrooms (optional)
cooking spray
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut biscuits into quarters and place in medium bowl. Toss biscuits with alfredo sauce and garlic powder. Add chicken and mushrooms (or shrimp) and half of the cheese. Toss until well blended. Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Pour biscuit mixture into pan and top with remaining cheese. Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes, or until biscuits are done.

We do luv seafood. Funny, I've never had a shrimp pizza before.
Sounds good!
I like white sauce pizzas but haven't ever tried one of the casserole style ones with it.
I think you meant that you WOULDN'T turn it down. :-) I've made the regular bubble up pizza and the bubble up enchilada recipes and really enjoyed them. I found them on another blog though, but the recipe and directions appear identical.
